Vacation Camps

Where creating a safe environment meets fun and learning.

At Stellar Soccer, we offer a fun, affordable soccer program that welcomes all families. Our team aims to provide children with a distinctive soccer experience, designed to teach fundamental grass-root soccer skills. Stellar Soccer seeks to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, allowing all participants to grow and learn through the beautiful game.

Typical Day and Communication

The schedule includes four soccer sessions where children can practice their soccer skills. After lunch, kids will have free time at the 116th street playground. Our day ends with more soccer and downtime.

BATHROOM - The schedule has three bathroom breaks where kids will be encouraged to use the restroom but will not be forced to do so. Please discuss with your child the importance of using the bathroom.

What to expect from our coaches

  • On-time, welcoming, & ready for fun!

  • Will assist kids who need comfort

  • First-aid certified with kit on hand.

  • Open for communication via email/text.

  • Will lead basic soccer drills and fun activities designed to engage and excite our young athletes.

  • Will pack essential items such as hand warmers, blanket, toilet paper, and gallons of water.

  • Our team is committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Morningside Park

Camp takes place at Morningside Park on 113 street, near the pond and baseball fields. We will travel up and down the park for lunch, art, and snack times. Transition updates will be shared via WhatsApp chat.

Indoor Opportunity

Our good friends at JCC Harlem may open up their doors to us in the event of bad weather. While it is not a guarantee, we may transition indoors. We will communicate as soon as possible.

What we expect from families

  • Camp begins at 9:00am. Running late or can't make it? Text coach Alex at 917-519-7982 or through the WhatsApp group.

  • Comfortable gear for active play. Sneakers are ok - cleats are not.

  • A change of clothes is not necessary but encouraged.

  • Remain at home if not feeling well.

  • Children will transition a few times during the day. Avoid packing heavy and please take scooter/bicycles home.

  • PLEASE inform us in person or via WhatsApp if you need early pickup. We aim to minimize distress among children who might witness peers leaving early.

  • Review our FAQ's page for more information

LUNCH & SNACK

Families must pack their kid’s lunch and snacks. To avoid mix-ups remember to label everything, including water bottle. Remind your child the importance of not sharing food to keep everyone safe. The schedule will include a morning and afternoon snack time. Lunch will be at around 12pm. Avoid any glass items.

Stellar Soccer is a nut-free program.

Communication

You’ll be invited to join our WhatsApp chat where we’ll share important messages, transition updates, and photos. For effective communication, non-urgent updates such as performance feedback will be emailed.

    —Vacation Camp Review

  • "Lots of focus on building - and in some cases strengthening - social-emotional skills in addition to basic soccer skills. Critical for kids this age as they are foundational for just about any sport they endeavor over the next few years."
